One community, one person and one vaccine at a time

Working together, we can stop the spread of COVID-19. As we continue to fight the pandemic, our Office of Emergency Management (OEM) team, working with CrowdRx, is now accepting applications to become part of our Vaccine Deployment Team talent pool. As part of the deployment team, you will be deployed to locations across the country to administer COVID-19 vaccines.

NOTE: Current GMR employees should check with their Regional Deployment Coordinator for available opportunities.

If you are an EMT, paramedic or nurse, join the team administering COVID-19 vaccines across the country and help us put an end to the spread. This is a part-time position, contingent on pending contracts.

Vaccine Deployment Team Member Qualifications

Education: High school diploma, GED or equivalent is required

Licensure:

Current authorized, licensed medical professional (EMT, Advanced EMT, Paramedic, LVN/LPN or RN)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
Must be able to provide a driver's license or government ID

Pay Scale*: $30/hour EMT | $40/hour Paramedic / LVN / LPN / RN

This includes portal-to-portal pay, plus overtime
You will be required to attend an online training class for which you will be compensated at a training rate

*Estimated weekly pay is based on remote (not in your home town) deployment. If deployed in your home location, you will not need to be housed in GMR-provided housing.

The teams at Global Medical Response have been on the frontlines of the pandemic since it began. We have provided support in the hardest hit areas and developed systems to streamline screening and testing and now we are preparing to facilitate vaccine administration.

GMR’s ground division, American Medical Response, is the prime EMS contractor for FEMA and deploys when the government needs emergency services due to hurricanes, wildfires and other major disasters. We deploy to major events, typically within 24-48 hours and with little notice, embodying the spirit of our mission: providing care to the world at a moment’s notice.

Once on the signup list, we’ll notify you on the timing and location of deployment.

Please note: To participate in this deployment, applicants must be able to currently function legally within their state of origin at their state-approved level of certification. GMR will handle individual one-time reciprocity if deployed outside your origin state certification. We will contact you with additional details.
